My client, an established service sector organisation based in Cheltenham, is looking to recruit for part or full-time Finance Manager on a 6 month contract. With a culture built on collaboration, you will be responsible for visiting numerous sites to support non-finance stakeholders. This is probably a 20-25 hour a week role and offers good flexibility.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of month end management accounts including explanation of variances
- Report results to the management team and Director
- Manage the Accounts Payable function
- Bank reconciliations
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Forecast the company’s cash flow position
- Manage supplier and regulatory payments
- Preparation up to trial balance level statutory accounts
- Assist in the annual external audit
- Support the Accounts Assistant as necessary
- Financial point of contact for the site management team
