Your new company: This well-established and very successful wealth management organisation has an opportunity for a Finance Graduate to join the team with a view to progressing into a long-term career.
Your new role: We are seeking a highly organised, motivated and detail-orientated individual who can demonstrate the ability to use their own initiative within their work. The role will involve studying the Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. The Diploma consists of 6 individual modules and takes approximately 2 - 3 years to complete. All study material and exam entry costs are covered by the client.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Dealing with and responding to written, telephone and electronic enquiries from colleagues, clients and third-party product providers.
- Arranging client meetings and meeting confirmations.
- Preparation of Company standard documents for client meetings, including opening of new client files.
- Accurately maintain client records in accordance with internal compliance requirements, updating personal details and policy information on various back-office software systems.
- Conducting research support for product and funds.
- Carry out audit checks on new client files to ensure that all tasks are carried out and completed in line with company policy and compliance procedures.
- Assisting with general compliance duties to include updating policies when changes are introduced by the Financial Conduct Authority.
- Assistance with maintaining and updating financial records and data entry using SAGE Accounts, alongside general administrative tasks to support the finance team.
- Dealing with maintenance scheduling and renewal of existing business contracts for office premises, including security and health and safety.
- Responsibility for all company office stationery and general office supplies, including future requisition of supplies.
- Management of all outgoing posts, including franking and recording on the post register.
- General administrative duties including scanning/photocopying, filing and emailing.
- Assisting the Directors with ad hoc tasks and projects.
