Your new company Hays are delighted to be supporting our client in recruiting a number of Facilities Assistants at their Birmingham City Centre site, to join their team for an initial 12-week assignment.

Your new role as a Facilities Assistant will see you carry out varied tasks on both a planned and reactive basis, which could include:

  • Moving furniture and items across site.
  • Preparing meeting rooms for business use.
  • Minor maintenance including changing lightbulbs, topping-up of items in restrooms etc.
  • Delivering items across site.
  • Minor repairs to site equipment.

This role is a Monday to Friday position, on a weekly rotational shift pattern of 7am - 3pm, and 10am - 6pm.

In order to succeed in this role you will possess experience in a similar, labour-intense role that requires you to be up-and-about, and on your feet each day. You will have a good work ethic, happy to step in and work hard throughout the day, under direction but with limited supervision. You will be required to be in Birmingham City Centre 5 days per week.

Applicants require the right to work in the UK at the time of application as no Visa sponsorship will be provided. Candidates not possessing the right to work at the time of application need not apply.

In return you will receive an hourly rate of between £15 - £16 per hour during this 12-week assignment.
