We are recruiting a reliable and experienced Handyperson to support Kier Construction on a secure site at HMP Channing's Wood. This is a temporary position requiring BPSS clearance and experience working within a controlled environment. You will carry out a range of maintenance, preparation, and temporary works to support ongoing construction activity.

Pay Rates: £14.39 - £19.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concrete repairs - Filling holes and patching damaged areas.
  • Trade preparation - Preparing materials and areas for follow-on trades.
  • Temporary carpentry - Installing temporary doors, formwork, and similar items.
  • General site support - Completing tasks as directed by site management.

Requirements:

  • BPSS clearance (must be completed prior to start or evidence of progress).
  • CSCS Card: Green or Blue (trade card preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a handy person.
  • Tools: Basic carpentry/bricklaying toolkit required.
