Your new company You\’ll be joining an ambitious and rapidly expanding organisation which is experiencing an exciting period of growth. They specialise in commercial grounds maintenance and gardening services, branching into new avenues. As such, they are looking to grow their management team and have opened up a brand-new vacancy for a skilled and strategic Executive Assistant. Your new role You\’ll be taking a strategic lead on operational functions, getting involved in high-level decision-making, as well as having a hands-on approach to daily administrative tasks. Some of the key tasks and responsibilities include; Collaborating with internal stakeholders to streamline operations and improve processes. Assisting the Managing Director with various daily tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met. Liaising with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for materials and services and conduct research to make cost-saving recommendations – building and maintaining long-term relationships with them. Maintaining their pricing spreadsheets, accurately updating when required. Providing the Managing Director with relevant data from QuickBooks to support in decision-making. Assisting the Managing Director with making informed, strategic decisions. Preparing weekly/monthly P&L reports. General administration, scheduling, and taking calls. Diary and mailbox management. What you\’ll need to succeed They are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who can show initiative, offer guidance and support in the growth of the business. A successful candidate will have the following: Previous experience as an executive assistant. The ability to proactively find solutions to complex problems efficiently. Prior experience preparing P&L reports, analysing financial data and has a basic understanding of financial principles. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on various projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail. Experience in marketing and sales support. Good written and verbal communication, with a friendly phone manner. The ability to work autonomously, managing your own workload. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
