Estimating Administrator Blackburn Full-time – Permanent £26,000 – £29,000 Depending on experience

A leading construction company are seeking to recruit an Estimating Administrator to work within their open office Team. This company are search for a confident communicator who is professional, able to work well under pressure and contribute within a small team.This role is office-based in Blackburn Lancashire, offering tailored working hours and career progression, along with free access to an onsite gym. Standard working hours are Monday – Friday; 9:00am – 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch, there can be some flexibility around this if required for the right candidate.
Your new role
As Construction Administrator you will be expected to support the wider office team, which will include receptionist duties, answering calls, emailing, filling, updating spreadsheets, dealing with contracts and important documentation. Along with assisting the estimating and surveying team, including liaising with subcontractors, drafting letters and all general administration when required.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must have excellent verbal/ written communication skills and have a pleasant, friendly tone over the phone to clients and customers, and overall have a good team work ethic. You must have the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively and a good understanding of technical and IT skills, particularly when it comes to database management and spreadsheets, whilst also possessing an eye for attention to detail. Please note, previous experience within a construction-based role is essential.

In return, you will be paid a competitive annual salary between £26,000 – £29,000 depending on experience and will be joining a successful growing business during an exciting period. Along with 28 days of annual leave, free parking and 3% pension contribution, along with flexibility around working hours.
