This is a varied role within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure the estate continues to meet business needs effectively.Your new role As Estates Surveyor, you will take responsibility for a broad mix of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, property management, lease advisory work and business rates. A key focus will be supporting the delivery of operational property requirements, particularly leasehold property solutions, from sourcing opportunities through to agreeing heads of terms and supporting completion.You will liaise with agents, solicitors, building surveyors and other external consultants, while also working closely with internal teams across operations, legal, finance and facilities. The role will involve maintaining accurate property records, managing budgets and lease events, supporting rent, service charge, insurance and rates processes, advising on lease compliance and helping to resolve estate-related matters in a timely and commercial manner.What you'll need to succeed • You will be in the final stages of your APC or recently qualified, with relevant commercial property experience.• You will have a good understanding of landlord and tenant matters, lease advisory work and commercial property management.• Experience across acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews, lease renewals, dilapidations or business rates would be highly beneficial.• You will be commercially astute, organised and able to maintain accurate records, budgets and trackers.• You will be confident engaging with internal stakeholders, external consultants and professional advisors.• Industrial, logistics or warehouse property experience would be advantageous, although not essential.• You will be pragmatic, reliable and comfortable working in a role involving national travel.What you'll get in return A competitive salary depending on experience.
