Your new role: Based in Clacton, you will be joining a well-known manufacturing company which specialises in the design and manufacture of a range of precision-based engineering parts & equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with production planning, scheduling, manufacturing coordination, or similar experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Supporting the Production manager and working closely with production, purchasing, engineering, quality and sales teams, you will be responsible for ensuring customer demand is translated into achievable production schedules while maintaining material availability and supporting on-time delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities & Duties: Create, maintain and communicate production schedules in line with customer orders, forecasts and manufacturing capacity.
Coordinate workflow across production departments to ensure priorities are managed effectively.
Monitor material availability, work-in-progress and finished goods levels.
Liaise with procurement and stores teams to ensure materials are available when required.
Work closely with production, engineering, quality and commercial teams to resolve planning challenges.
Utilise ERP/MRP systems to manage demand, release work orders and maintain planning data.

Experience & Skills needed: Previous experience in Production Planning, Production Coordination, Manufacturing/ maintenance planner or a similar role.
Understanding of manufacturing operations, capacity planning and material requirements.
Experience using ERP, MRP or production scheduling systems.
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
A proactive and hands-on approach within a manufacturing environment.
Experience producing KPI reports, capacity plans or production performance reports would be highly beneficial.
