As Accounts Senior you will oversee a varied workload across accounts prep, tax and bookkeeping, serving as a trusted advisor to owner-managed clients. You will manage deadlines and maintain strong client relationships, delivering high-quality service. The role combines hands-on accounting work with client liaison and collaboration within a local practice. This is a chance to broaden technical knowledge and develop client-facing skills in a supportive team. You will contribute to delivering accurate, compliant financial outputs and proactive business support.

Responsibilities
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in line with FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105
- Draft associated tax computations
- Provide bookkeeping services and respond to clients bookkeeping queries
- Build strong working relationships and act as a key point of contact for clients
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Provide practical support on a range of accounting and business matters
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an accurate, responsive and high-quality service
Key requirements
- Experienced in an accountancy practice
- Strong experience preparing accounts for owner-managed businesses
- Confident, professional and client-focused communication style
- Good working knowledge of Xero
- Ability to work independently, organise workload and meet multiple deadlines
