This Training role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to confidently engage with individuals and groups at all levels of the organisation, from new starters to experienced team members, adapting your approach to suit diverse learning styles and language abilities. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Willing to be flexible, cover both days and late shift.
- Design, review, and deliver a compliant and comprehensive onboarding programme for all new starters.
- Organise, coordinate, and deliver role-specific and industry-relevant training to ensure team members can perform their duties safely and compliantly.
- Maintain and update all training documentation and records on the company’s training system, ensuring they meet internal and external audit standards.
- Be confident in escalating bad practices and able to identify individuals that may require further training.
- Ensure mandatory and refresher training is up to date, meeting business and legal deadlines.
- Track and report on training progress and completion rates, escalating concerns where necessary.
- Conduct on-the-job competency assessments and provide clear, constructive feedback.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Food Safety & Hygiene understanding.
- Understand the importance of Health & Safety.
- Exceptional communication skills – confident, clear, and engaging when speaking to individuals or groups from a variety of backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with and motivate people at all levels.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple training priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and professional in written communication.
