A leading manufacturer in the industrial sector is seeking a passionate and experienced Environmental Manager to drive sustainability initiatives and ensure environmental compliance across operations. Your new role
The main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures aligned with legal and operational goals
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and permits
- Conduct impact assessments and internal audits
- Lead projects to reduce the environmental footprint and enhance sustainability performance
- Prepare reports and communicate environmental metrics to stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams, regulators, and external partners
- Deliver training and promote environmental awareness across the organisation
What you\’ll need to succeed
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., IEMA, NEBOSH Environmental)
- Experience liaising with UK environmental regulators (e.g., Natural Resources Wales, Environment Agency)
- Minimum 5 years\’ experience in environmental management or a similar role
- Strong understanding of environmental legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data
