Your new company is an award-winning multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy based in Cardiff, specialising in Ecology, Arboriculture, Planning, EIA, Landscape Architecture and Data Analysis. They are constantly looking to branch out and develop business, with a diverse client base across complex infrastructure and renewables projects. Your new role involves being an Environmental Clerk of Works to support project requirements across the environmental space, including Ecology, Air Quality, Water Quality, etc.

Main duties could include:

  • Work closely with Ecologists, Environmental Planners and Landscape Architects
  • Co-ordination of ecological surveys
  • Prepare method statements and construction environmental management plans
  • Managing contractors and construction team to ensure the site adheres to environmental legislation
  • Environmental risk management
  • Set up and undertake noise, air quality and water quality monitoring
  • Carry out site inspections

What you'll need to succeed:

  • ECoW experience managing sub-contractors
  • Understanding of environmental remediation methodologies
  • Site-based environmental knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A Full UK Driving licence
  • CSCS card (ideal)
  • Knowledge of GIS (ideal)
