The Role: As an English Teacher, you'll inspire students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that help pupils develop their creativity, critical thinking and communication skills. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality English Language and Literature lessons
- Planning, assessing and tracking student progress
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential
- Creating an engaging and positive classroom environment
- Managing behaviour effectively and promoting high expectations
- Contributing to the success of the wider English department
We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A genuine passion for inspiring young people
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both welcome to apply
