This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator with a proven track record of raising achievement and driving excellence in Mathematics education.
As Head of Mathematics, you will
Lead, develop and manage the Mathematics department.
Drive high standards of teaching, learning and student attainment.
Support, mentor and develop teaching staff within the department.
Oversee curriculum planning, assessment and departmental improvement strategies.
Monitor performance and implement effective interventions to maximise outcomes.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
Extensive experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school setting.
Previous leadership experience within a curriculum area or department (Head of Department, Second in Department, Key Stage Lead or similar experience is advantageous).
A strong understanding of the secondary Mathematics curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Access to a car is desirable due to the school's location.
Permanent contract with a September start.
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and leadership responsibilities.
