Maintenance Engineer – Nights
Your new company
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a large manufacturing business. This is a crucial role, working nights supporting the site operations team.
Your new role
Working Monday to Thursday, 22.00pm – 06.00am and Friday 17.30pm – 22.30pm, you will work with the engineering team supporting operations and production by ensuring machine availability, efficiency and reliability. You will carry out effective preventative maintenance procedures, timely calibrations and routine safety checks on all equipment. You will assist with process improvement projects, promoting continuous improvement and installation and commissioning of new equipment.
What you\’ll need to succeed
You will have completed an Engineering apprenticeship or hold relevant qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering to city & guilds/NVQ level 3. You will have experience gained in a manufacturing environment, a good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and mechanical drive systems. You will have experience in fault-finding on electrical circuits with experience on AC variable speed drives, knowledge of Siemens S5/7 and Allen Bradley PLC\’s.
