I am delighted to be working on behalf of a Global Food Manufacturer, looking for a Maintenance Shift Team Leader, leading 4 Engineers and driving shift performance for reactive and proactive maintenance across the site. This is a fast-paced manufacturer, with a mix of assets including mechanical, electrical, site services and automation.
The newly appointed Maintenance Team Leader will report to the Engineering Manager and assume responsibility for planning, budgets, maintenance schedules, people leadership and development, and much more. The company are willing to sponsor the right candidate to undergo their CMI lvl5 Management Apprenticeship to help progress their career further.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Apprentice trained maintenance engineer with an electrical bias.
- Experience mentoring and leading a small team is desirable.
- Exposure to fast-moving, highly automated environments, such as food, beverages, textiles, cosmetics, pharma, packaging and similar.
Additional requirements:
- Have extensive experience of maintaining a live manufacturing plant post apprenticeship.
- Have the correct right to work in the UK without expiry.
- Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a production environment in the UK.
- Able to work a Panama shift rota.
- Work collaboratively with a team of engineers and production professionals.
- Be continuous improvement focused.
