Large property asset management client looking for an electrician for a mobile role
Your new company
Our client provides asset management services for housing associations and local authorities, focusing on improving the living conditions of residents and leaving a lasting impact on the community. Their services include responsive repairs, void refurbishments, compliancy services and planned maintenance work.
Your new role
Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll undertake electrical repairs, testing and installation works across your dedicated area, whilst complying with BS7671, ensuring implementation and compliance is in line with Health and Safety Policy and procedures.You’ll produce concise and accurate data records through PDA / mobile communication systems and reporting, ensuring tasks are completed right, first time, with materials and timescales both achievable and deliverable. You will also:
- Work individually or as part of a team undertaking electrical repairs, testing, installation, and condition reporting works
- Attend and complete training as required to comply with MSPS Competency requirements
- Document electrical work including the use of labour and materials against each job
- Maintain van stocks and provide information enabling the improvement of first time fixes for the area you work within
- Cover out of hours on a rota basis
- Carry out repairs to a variety of building services and demonstrate competence to basic multi-skills outside the core trade to include minor plumbing works, building work and possible grounds work
What you’ll need to succeed
Candidates will be able to work individually or as part of a team and will have proven experience within a similar role.Essential Qualifications required: Any of:
- Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation – Buildings & Structures)
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment (buildings, structures and the environment)
- City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Part 2
- Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology
What you’ll get in return
When successful in securing the role, you will receive:
- Between £36,000 – £40,000
