Maintenance Electrician

Your new company

We are seeking skilled Electricians to operate within our friendly, supportive and multi-skilled technical team to undertake planned maintenance, installation, alteration and repair work in a commercial and domestic setting in the heart of York.
Your Requirements

  • Craft trade apprentice, trained to City and Guilds Level in the core trade or equivalent qualifications or experience. For example, C&G 2381, 18th edition, C&G 2391 (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations & procedures, for example COSHH and risk assessment and understanding of Electricity at work regulations
  • Demonstrable building services experience obtained within a building service environment and knowledge and ability to implement practical techniques used in relevant work area
  • Extensive experience of health and safety risk management techniques which are applicable to an estates function.
  • Ability to assess non-routine problems by suggesting solutions
  • Flexible approach to workload and hours in order to meet changing needs or circumstances
  • Evidence of upholding our behaviours as detailed within the accompanying person specification.
