Testing Electrician

Your new company
You’ll be joining a well-established and housing provider, recognised for delivering high-quality maintenance services across the social housing sector. This particular role sits within their dedicated EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reporting) team, working on a temporary contract covering Widnes, Runcorn & St Helens.
Your new role

  • Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a range of properties, ensuring all systems are thoroughly inspected and tested in line with current regulations.
  • Diagnosing faults and identifying non-compliance issues, clearly recording findings and recommending appropriate remedial actions.
  • Completing minor remedial works and repairs following inspections to bring installations up to required standards.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) and company procedures.
  • Accurately documenting reports and certification, maintaining high standards of record-keeping and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A recognised NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • 2391 /4/5 Testing & Inspection qualification
  • A full UK driving licence
