Electrical Shift Technician

Your new role
This is a 4 on 4 off rotating day and night shift role. You will be working with the Engineering team, to deliver customer satisfaction, minimisation of defects, on-time delivery and continuous flow. You will be carrying out maintenance on heavy plant and equipment. Both planned and reactive maintenance are a feature of this role as well as carrying out modifications to all types of heavy plant and equipment. You will be required to carry out fault-finding diagnosis and use those fault-finding diagnosis techniques to reduce the impact of reactive maintenance.
You will also be a part of project work, as well as working with H&S and QA departments insuring that all documentation and logs are filled out accurately.
What you’ll need to succeed
Essential – HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
Essential – Full UK Driving Licence
Required – Relevant practical experience in heavy plant and equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and rotating equipment.
Ideal – Knowledge of PLC’s or DCS’ and HV networks
