A global multi-disciplinary consultancy is offering an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join their innovative Building Services Engineering Team in Belfast. This permanent position is ideal for someone seeking technically challenging work on cutting-edge projects. The company is committed to sustainable development, operating over 90 offices worldwide, working on a diverse range of projects including laboratories, hospitals, healthcare facilities, data centres, energy and commercial projects, as well as educational and custodial projects.
Your new role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral member of the Building Services Engineering Team, working on multidisciplinary projects and providing technical support and mentorship to graduate engineers and technicians.
In this role, you will:
- Developing innovative and sustainable electrical solutions for a diverse range of projects.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of work, taking responsibility for specific aspects of design projects.
- Representing the team in internal and client meetings.
- Collaborating with the team to design electrical systems, preparing technical drawings and project documentation.
- Mentoring and supervising Graduate Engineers and Technicians.
What you'll need to succeed
- Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Experienced with design software packages such as SKM, ETAP, and Amtech.
- Proficient in working within the BIM environment using Revit.
- Exhibits a strong passion for quality, sustainability, and innovation.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
