Electrical Engineer – Established Building Services Consultancy – Belfast – Hybrid
Your new company
An established, reputable and forward-thinking multidisciplinary practice based in Belfast are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to deliver design solutions for a range of construction projects across multiple sectors including Commercial, Education, Health and Residential for both Public and Private sector clients.
Your new role
You will be involved with a portfolio of bespoke electrical projects including new builds and refurbishments, taking them from the initial brief through scheme and detail design to installation and commissioning support. You will collaborate with other engineers and technicians, provide input to the design, attend site and client meetings as well as a range of other duties associated with each project.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Electrical Engineering/Building Services related degree
- Minimum 2 years post-grad experience
- Experience in the design of electrical systems in buildings/built environment including:
- Lighting
- Small Power
- Fire Detection & Alarm
- Low Voltage Distribution
- Security and CCTV
- Access Control
- Experience of producing design drawings, specifications
- Report writing skills
- Good communication skills
- AutoCAD
- Amtech or similar cable sizing software
- Dialux or similar lighting calculation software
