As a Business Manager, you are a senior fee earner with accountability for the performance and growth of a significant customer portfolio within your specialist market.

You deliver material business impact through advanced business development, complex deal execution and the ownership of high value, long‑term customer relationships.

You operate with a high degree of autonomy, making confident commercial decisions.

You act as a trusted partner to senior customers, role model Hays' Valued Behaviours and set the commercial tone through your results, professionalism and collaborative approach, supporting colleagues through shared expertise, advice and example rather than formal line management.
