Your new role
\n As an Accounts and Business Advisory Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients while acting as a trusted adviser on day-to-day financial and business matters.
\n You will oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts and management information, ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard and within agreed deadlines. Alongside this, you will work closely with clients to help them understand their financial performance and identify opportunities to support their wider business objectives.
\n The role will also involve developing and maintaining client relationships, reviewing the work of junior team members and providing coaching and support to help them progress professionally. As a member of the management team, you will contribute to operational improvements, support departmental initiatives and help drive continued excellence in client service delivery.
\n This position offers exposure to a broad range of clients and the opportunity to combine technical accountancy expertise with commercial advisory work.

What you'll need to succeed

- Experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
- Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and review.
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to interpret financial information and communicate key insights clearly.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Experience reviewing work and supporting the development of junior colleagues.
- Relevant professional qualification or qualified by experience.
- Experience managing a client portfolio.
- Exposure to business advisory work alongside accounts preparation.
- Experience contributing to process improvements or operational initiatives.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to client service.
