Are you an organised, customer-focused professional with experience in social housing repairs? Our client, a highly respected housing association in Edinburgh, is seeking a proactive Repairs Officer to join their busy property services team. About the Role
As a Repairs Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for tenants regarding repairs and maintenance issues. You'll coordinate works with contractors, ensure repairs are completed on time, and deliver a high standard of service to residents. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day reactive repairs and maintenance requests
- Logging, tracking, and monitoring repair orders through the internal system
- Liaising with tenants, contractors, surveyors, and other internal teams
- Ensuring all repairs meet agreed service standards and timescales
- Supporting planned maintenance and compliance works when required
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues efficiently
- Ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained
About You
