Our client, a highly respected housing association in Edinburgh, is seeking a proactive Repairs Officer to join their busy property services team. About the Role

As a Repairs Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for tenants regarding repairs and maintenance issues. You'll coordinate works with contractors, ensure repairs are completed on time, and deliver a high standard of service to residents. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day reactive repairs and maintenance requests
  • Logging, tracking, and monitoring repair orders through the internal system
  • Liaising with tenants, contractors, surveyors, and other internal teams
  • Ensuring all repairs meet agreed service standards and timescales
  • Supporting planned maintenance and compliance works when required
