Your new company My client is a part of a group that offers a range of services, including ecological consultancy. They were established over 40 years ago and have provided services to their clients nationally ever since. They work on a range of large-scale infrastructure projects as well as conservation and others.

Your new role My client is seeking an experienced Dormouse Licenced ecologist to support an ongoing project based in Stroud. You'll be conducting Dormouse surveys, generating survey reports based on findings, and ensuring work is delivered effectively. This contract can be offered outside IR35. The role is 1-2 days a week (flexible on which days) until September/October and work may continue past that if there is still a requirement.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Dormouse Licence (Class 1 CL10a)
  • Experience with protected species surveying
  • Own Vehicle and driving licence
  • Own PPE/ specialist equipment is desirable
  • Relevant ecology qualifications
  • Ability to deliver clear reports
