Key Requirements: Proven commercial experience working as a Data Architect within the Defence space. Active DV Clearance and sole UK nationality Strong AWS data lake, platform and security expertise Apache NiFi architecture, governance and pipeline delivery Secure data integration experience across multiple security domains API, file-based, legacy and bespoke integration design and delivery Data modelling, governance, lineage and metadata management AWS security, IAM, networking and access control Strong technical leadership, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills Nice to have: AWS Solutions Architect certification TOGAF, MODAF or similar architecture frameworks NCSC and MOD assurance experience Cross-domain transfer / secure data movement knowledge Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Lakehouse or Data Catalogue experience Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
