We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician for a short-term contract based in York (YO41), supporting ongoing works within a commercial maintenance environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Installation works including power, lighting, and small upgrades
- Fault finding and rectification across commercial systems
- Minor remedial works following inspections and testing
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and site standards
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Strong electrical installation knowledge
- Proven experience within commercial maintenance environments
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Key Details:
- Start from Tuesday 26th May
- 2-3 week contract
- Full-time hours (8:00am- 4:30pm)
- PAYE only (no CIS or self-employed payment options available)
- Weekly pay via Hays payroll
