Your new role
We are seeking a skilled Drainage Engineer with strong design experience to join our client.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing drainage systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine drainage requirements.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless project integration.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design progress.
What you’ll need to succeed
As a Drainage Engineer, our client is seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural engineering
- 3 years experience in UK & Irish construction market
- A member of an appropriate professional institution
- Chartered or approaching Chartered Engineer status
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation,etc
- Strong understanding of drainage principles, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
