We're working with a leading international logistics specialist to find a Logistics Coordinator to join their high-performing operations team in Dover.

About the Role

This is a dynamic, hands-on position where you'll play a key role in planning and managing time-critical transport solutions across the UK, Europe, and globally. You'll be working in a fast-moving environment where deadlines are tight, and customer expectations are high - so attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate time-sensitive transport solutions across Europe and worldwide
  • Ensure all shipments meet strict deadlines and scheduling requirements
  • Monitor ongoing movements and proactively manage delays or disruptions
  • Escalate issues and provide solutions to ensure clear communication with clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers
  • Identify gaps in carrier coverage and support continuous improvement
  • Ensure all carrier performance issues are recorded and escalated appropriately
  • Work closely with the Team Leader to promote best practice across operations
  • Maintain awareness of European driving regulations and restrictions

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in logistics, transport, or freight operations (preferred)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Knowledge of European transport regulations (highly advantageous)
  • Additional language skills are a bonus.
