The Opportunity
An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role sits within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, offering the opportunity to play a key part in supporting business performance, delivering accurate financial reporting, and partnering closely with operational teams.
- Production of monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Business partnering with operations to provide financial insight and support decision-making
- Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
- Monitoring cost performance, margins, and KPIs across the business
- Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Identifying and implementing process improvements within the finance function
About You
- Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience
- Strong understanding of management accounting and reporting processes
- Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems
