Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the business, driving performance and ensuring the organisation is well positioned for sustainable long-term growth.
Your new roleAs Finance Director, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and providing strategic financial leadership across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include: Developing and delivering the financial strategy to support business growth and profitability.
Acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team, providing commercial insight, challenge and decision support.
Leading long-term financial planning, forecasting, scenario modelling and investment appraisal activities.
Supporting key business decisions relating to product development, pricing, capital investment and operational performance. Maintaining robust financial governance, controls, compliance and risk management frameworks.
Overseeing statutory reporting, audit processes and regulatory requirements.
Providing commercial analysis around customer profitability, product investment and growth opportunities.
Driving continuous improvement, automation and strengthened financial processes across the business.
Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team.
Partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to position finance as a proactive commercial business partner.
Supporting strategic projects, operational efficiency initiatives and future expansion opportunities.
What you'll need to succeedTo be considered, you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a proven track record operating as a Finance Director or senior finance leader within a manufacturing environment. You will also demonstrate: Previous experience within manufacturing or a similar production-led business.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence decision-making at board level.
Experience operating within ambitious, fast-paced and entrepreneurial organisations. A strategic mindset balanced with a hands-on approach when required.
Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to develop high-performing teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
