Your new role
A design manger for a leading contractor on a major highways project. You will attend production call meetings. Go through the actions list of production call. Chase personnel to complete their tasks. Flag up any critical design packages being late from production call intel.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of technical management processes and project dashboards.
- Manage design deliverables within EMT and PWDM. Integrate and manage specialist designs with temporary works and the construction team.
- Support CDM hazard reviews.
- Monitor programme progress.
- Facilitate and support IDC, IDR, and buildability reviews.
- Track design mature throughout the design phase.
- Implement the project change management process.
- Manage the utilities' diversion process for efficient delivery. Oversee TIDPs in Relatics and maintain their status. Support Cemar EWN.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven ability to manage design in a large multidisciplinary environment
- Experience of working on National Highways projects, including PCF processes
- Professional engineering qualification. Civil Engineering.
