Your new company A prestigious college within the University of Oxford is seeking a highly experienced Dante Engineer to undertake a specialist review of its existing audio and AV infrastructure. Renowned for its academic excellence and historic environment, the college is investing in ensuring its technology estate remains reliable, resilient and fit for purpose.
Your new role You will be engaged on a short-term assignment to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the college's current Dante environment and associated AV systems. Working onsite with key stakeholders, you will review the existing architecture, device configuration, network design and operational performance, identifying any risks, inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement. At the conclusion of the engagement, you will provide practical recommendations to enhance system stability, performance and future scalability, alongside any remedial actions required. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience working with Dante audio networking solutions in complex environments. Strong understanding of audio-over-IP technologies, network infrastructure, switching, VLANs and multicast. Experience diagnosing and resolving AV and audio networking issues. Ability to undertake technical audits and produce clear, actionable recommendations. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
