A well-established London local authority is seeking a proactive Damp and Mould Service Coordinator to support its Housing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a service committed to improving housing standards, resident satisfaction, and the delivery of essential repair works.

As the Damp and Mould Service Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across the damp and mould workstream. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will ensure lessons learnt from operational delivery are embedded into everyday practice and that key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved in line with both contractual and corporate expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Damp & Mould team
  • Managing, allocating and monitoring written and electronic correspondence
  • Coordinating performance reporting across the service
  • Supporting effective case progression and follow-up actions
  • Representing the Council at resident engagement meetings, offering service updates and responding to enquiries
  • Ensuring transparent communication and maintaining positive relationships with residents
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and service providers to resolve repair issues and deliver joined-up housing services
