You will be joining an existing team at a large organisation in the Edinburgh area. Due to a new project being signed off, they are looking to add an experienced driver/labourer for a contract running throughout the majority of 2026.

Your duties may include:

  • General labouring work across various different sites and locations, including working alongside the public.
  • Landscaping duties such as grass cutting, hedge trimming and general garden clearance.
  • At times, this role can require quite physical work, so manual handling, both as an individual and as part of a team, will be needed.
  • Working well as part of a wider team to complete the work on time and to a high standard.
  • Driving the vehicle where required in a safe & courteous manner.

You will need to be able to undertake hard manual work as this job will require you to work on your feet all day. It would be advantageous for applicants to have worked in a similar environment before, however not essential to be considered for this position. Due to the nature of this role, no CSCS card is needed. However, you MUST have a UK Driving Licence to be considered.

You will be offered a start with a large employer on a long-term contract, with the potential for a permanent role to be applied for at any stage. Hays will pay you weekly PAYE with the option of building up a holiday allowance. You will receive regular updates from your Hays consultant and have any queries answered promptly.
