I'm currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading name in the financial services sector, for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a 6-month temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, working from modern offices in Liverpool city centre with a hybrid working model. The role also includes a 1 in 4 Saturday working rota.
Your new role
As part of the Customer Services team, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, dealers, and funders, delivering high-quality support and ensuring a smooth customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to inbound customer queries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate customer records, including updates to personal details and account changes.
- Process settlement figures and due-date amendments.
- Build product knowledge across a range of products.
- Provide clear, effective advice and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Uphold the company's values by treating customers fairly and acting with integrity.
I am looking for a candidate who brings a confident and friendly approach to customer service, with the ability to communicate clearly and listen actively. You'll need to be calm under pressure, able to handle challenging conversations with professionalism, and show great attention to detail in everything you do. Previous experience in a customer service environment - particularly within financial services - would be highly beneficial.
