I'm thrilled to be working with a key client within financial services who are looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join the team on a 9-month FTC to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning organisation in their modern, city-centre offices.

Your new role

You will be a pivotal part of the customer service team, providing an excellent level of service at first point of contact. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering all inbound customer care queries in a timely manner.
  • Responding to queries via email.
  • Ensuring customer personal details are maintained as and when required.
  • Making changes to due dates and settlement figures.
  • Able to solve problems and provide appropriate advice.
  • Escalating calls appropriately to the Customer Service Team Manager or Complaints team if unable to resolve as first point of contact.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working in a customer service role and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills, be able to work well under pressure and have a proactive and motivated attitude to work. Experience working within financial services would be hugely advantageous. You must be comfortable working 1 in 4 Saturdays.

What you'll get in return

This is a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The position is full-time with the requirement to work 1 in 4 Saturdays. Hours are Monday – Thursday 9 – 5.30 and Friday 9 – 5, each with an hour's lunch break. Saturdays are worked from home 9-4. The organisation works in a hybrid model whereby Mondays and Fridays are work from home days. Salary bracket £25,000 - £26,000 depending on experience.
