Your new role as Production Team Leader involves playing a key role within a busy manufacturing site, leading and developing a high-performing production team in a fast-paced environment. Reporting into senior operations' leadership, you will champion health and safety, drive performance against key KPIs and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Working on a permanent evening shift, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of up to 20 production operatives.
- Champion a strong health & safety culture, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Drive production performance and exceed key KPIs including OEE, ATP, PPM and waste reduction.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of safe, high-quality products.
- Monitor and improve operational processes to maximise efficiency and output.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.
- Foster a positive, collaborative and well-organised working environment.
- Communicate effectively across teams and shifts to ensure operational consistency.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven experience within a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing highly desirable).
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- A strong people leader with a passion for coaching and developing others.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team-focused approach with strong collaboration skills.
- A proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and innovation.
