Press Brake Operative in Craigavon

Your New Company A well-established manufacturing business in the Craigavon area is seeking a Press Brake Operator to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position within a positive and supportive working environment, offering a stable weekday schedule with an early finish every Friday. Your New Role As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a key role in the manufacture of high-quality products, ensuring all components are produced accurately and efficiently to meet production targets and quality Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machinery in line with production requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and bending schedules. Measure and inspect components to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances. Adjust machine settings to achieve accurate bends and high-quality finishes. Carry out routine quality checks and complete production documentation. Identify and report faults relating to machinery, materials or finished components. Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. Work effectively under the guidance of supervisors and as part of a wider manufacturing team. Support other manufacturing activities as required. Mon - Thurs 8am - 5pm and Fri until 1.30pm What You'll Need to Succeed Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Desirable Previous experience operating a press brake machine within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes. What You'll Get in Return Competitive salary package. Permanent, full-time opportunity.
