You will be joining a well-established and growing construction specialist delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK retail sector. As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for overseeing supermarket fit-out projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. You will manage site operations from start to completion, coordinating subcontractors, managing site teams and ensuring compliance with all health & safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day site activity on live retail environments
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades
- Ensuring projects are delivered on programme and within budget
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality control
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams
- Completing site reports and documentation
- Leading by example to ensure a professional, efficient site culture
What you'll need to succeed:
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience managing fit-out projects, ideally within the retail or supermarket sector. You will also require:
- Proven experience in delivering supermarket or retail fit-outs
- SMSTS qualification
- Valid CSCS Card (Black, Gold or White)
- First Aid certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, live environments
- Ability to manage multiple trades and tight deadlines
- UK driver's licence and ability to cover projects nationwide
- Additional tickets, certifications, or relevant training will be considered advantageous.
