Senior QS Opportunity on Major University Refurb Programme – Tier 1 Contractor
Your new company: You’ll be joining a leading Tier 1 main contractor recognised for delivering complex, high‑value construction and refurbishment schemes across the Midlands. With a strong pipeline of public‑sector and education projects, they are known for their structured project delivery, outstanding safety culture, and commitment to professional development. You’ll be part of an established commercial team working on a flagship programme within a major university estate.
Your new role: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial lead on a series of commercial refurbishment projects at the University of Warwick. You will oversee the full commercial lifecycle, including procurement, subcontract management, cost planning, forecasting, variations, valuations, risk management, and final accounts. Working closely with the operations team, you will ensure projects are delivered to budget while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
- Proven experience as a Senior QS within main contracting
- Strong background in commercial refurbishment or education-led projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work with clients, design teams, and subcontractors
- A valid CSCS White Card
- Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
