Your new role as a Hydrogeologist will involve supporting the delivery of a wide range of hydrogeological and geological services. You will contribute to projects at all stages, from initial assessment through to delivery and reporting, working closely with experienced consultants on complex and rewarding assignments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering technical support across hydrogeological and geological projects
- Preparing desk-based studies, quantitative risk assessments and technical reports
- Developing conceptual and numerical hydrogeological models
- Designing and implementing remediation strategies
- Supervising site investigations and overseeing contractors and field teams
- Liaising with clients, regulators and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
What you'll need to succeed:
- A degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related discipline
- Experience in Hydrogeology Consultancy
- Demonstrable experience in groundwater assessment and hydrogeological projects
- Sound knowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Experience using hydrogeological modelling software
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- The ability to manage both office-based and field activities
- A proactive, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Membership of (or working towards membership of) a relevant professional body
- A full UK driving licence
