You will be joining a leading UK main contractor with a strong presence across the West Midlands, delivering high-quality design and build projects within the construction sector. With a substantial secured order book and a growing regional pipeline, the business offers long-term stability alongside the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding schemes.
You will join the business as a Site Manager, responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of construction projects across multiple sites within the region.
- Manage and coordinate all on-site activities including labour, plant, subcontractors, staff and equipment.
- Drive the construction programme proactively, identifying risks, opportunities and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead, motivate and develop site teams, monitoring performance and fostering a positive working environment.
- Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain programme, quality and safety standards.
- Support the Project Manager, taking direction and stepping up to lead site operations when necessary.
- Coordinate procurement and material delivery with the buying and Surveying teams.
- Take full accountability for site performance, health & safety, quality and programme delivery.
- Lead quality inspections and ensure standards are achieved and maintained across all site activities.
Proven experience working as a Site Manager for a main contractor.
Strong background in design and build projects.
Demonstrable experience managing health & safety, quality and site performance.
SMSTS.
CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred).
