Your new role: As a Finance Assistant supporting student funding and hardship, you will play a key role in helping students access vital financial support throughout their studies. Working within a busy finance or student services team, you will be responsible for processing applications for hardship funds and student financial assistance, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality at all times. You will liaise with students, internal departments, and external stakeholders to provide clear guidance on funding eligibility, payments, and financial procedures. The role requires strong attention to detail, as you will manage financial records, support reconciliations, and assist with reporting, while also providing a compassionate and professional service to students facing financial challenges. You will be based in the office at least 1 day a week.
