Legal Costs Draftsperson Your new company This is a well-established and highly respected law firm based in London, known for its commitment to justice, integrity, and excellence across a broad spectrum of legal services. Your new role As a Legal Costs Draftsperson, you’ll be a key figure within the finance department, responsible for drafting and managing cost claims across civil, criminal, and inter partes matters. You’ll ensure accurate billing and maximum recovery of fees, while also supporting fee earners with funding queries and cost strategy. Your work will include preparing high-cost case plans, negotiating settlements, drafting bills for court assessment, and overseeing cradle-to-grave cost services on selected cases.

You’ll also play a supervisory role, maintaining quality standards, allocating work, and contributing to training and development across the firm.
