Our client is a leading national law firm with a strong reputation for client delivery and legal excellence. They are currently recruiting a Costs Lawyer / Costs Draftsperson to join either their Manchester, Liverpool or Birmingham office on a hybrid working basis.
Your new role
This Costs Draftsperson / Costs Lawyer will see you play a vital role in managing complex and high-value costs litigation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting costs budgets, bills of costs, Points of Dispute, Replies, and Schedules of Costs
  • Negotiating settlements and managing your own caseload
  • Attending CCMCs and application hearings, with opportunities for advocacy
  • Advising clients throughout the lifecycle of a claim


What you\'ll need to succeed
You must be an experienced costs draftsperson or qualified costs lawyer with previous experience working on defendant costs matters. You must have strong drafting, negotiating and advocacy skills.
