Your New Role
We are seeking a motivated Corporate Tax Accountant to join the Manchester in-house tax team. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of Corporation Tax compliance across the UK, Ireland, and offshore entities. You will be responsible for preparing tax computations, statutory disclosures, budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Additionally, you will support the wider business with tax advice and contribute to team projects that drive improvements in tax processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing balance sheet controls and ensuring compliance with internal tax controls
- Identifying opportunities to improve tax compliance and reporting processes through efficiency gains and automation
- Monitoring industry developments and legislative changes, advising the business accordingly
- Providing tax advice to various parts of the business and assessing tax implications of new initiatives
- Reviewing the integrity and reliability of tax systems and reports to manage risk
- Supporting team members with other tax compliance activities as needed
What You'll Need to Succeed
You will be a qualified or part-qualified Manchester based tax professional (ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA) with solid expertise in Corporation Tax and strong accounting skills. You should be detail-oriented, conscientious and capable of managing large volumes of data accurately. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and keep up to date with legislative changes.
