Hays are working in partnership with South Gloucestershire Council who are seeking to appoint a Corporate Landlord Principal to take an influential role in the day-to-day management of the council's corporate portfolio.

Your New Role
As a Corporate Landlord Principal, you will lead in a key role across the effective management of assets and provide a cost-effective professional property management service to the council, taking into account the council's policies and legislation, demonstrating best value on all property transactions and the management of lease events.
You will deliver a range of services engaging directly with tenants, external agents, surveyors and lawyers across the following areas:
- Rent Reviews
- Lease Renewals and Lease Restructures
- Overseeing letting agents and external solicitors
- Managing tenants' applications to alter, assign and sublet
- Approving service charge budgets prepared by external agents
- Liaising with internal and external valuers
You will join a property & development team responsible for managing corporate and investment assets. You will provide a high level of technical expertise within this team, playing a key role in ensuring that the service is well organised and delivered effectively.
What You Need to Succeed
- A degree in estate management or similar / equivalent qualification.
- Experience in managing service delivery.
- An in-depth knowledge of service specific and professional issues.
- Have financial experience or training sufficient to manage budgets where required.
