At Hays, we believe in being long-term partners to our people and customers. We’re now looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Contracts and Legal function – a key role supporting our commercial success and client engagement.
As a Contracts Manager, you’ll play a critical role in helping Hays maximise commercial opportunities by ensuring contracts are agreed efficiently, accurately, and with strong commercial alignment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, Insurance and Operations
- Partner with bid teams and support pricing discussions where required
- Track contract progress, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of outstanding issues
- Take ownership of contract review processes and governance compliance
- Support Account Managers and Directors with client engagements
- Facilitate contract amendments and change controls
- Support effective handover of contracts to delivery teams
- Provide reporting on KPIs, work-in-progress and contract status
Strong planning, organisation and project management skills
Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Commercial & technical capability:
- Experience engaging in contract negotiations
- Ability to interpret legal terminology and assess business impact
- Confidence evaluating opportunities and contributing to commercial decision-making
